From Radio to Games

I am a college lecturer and games developer from Scotland who works primarily in Unreal Engine.

I have a wide variety of media experience. Beginning as a radio presenter I got an HNC and further progressed into TV/Film.

With no opportunities in these industries I tried what I never thought possible: to attempt creating rather than just playing. As it turned out, although I'd never done art or anything of the sort, college accepted me. So I started from the ground floor and worked my way up. From level 4/5 to a first class honours degree from UWS.

With aspirations to pursue a phd in games studies and their applications in other industries, as well as how they can be utilized to help others in education and health, I still have a long, but fun road ahead of me.
